One of the most confusing things entering the world of the electronic cigarette is the wide variety of names used to the different makes and models on the market. Broadly you can categorise them into these groups:-
Super Mini or Mini - Cigarette sized e-cigs and shaped. Some designed to look like a classical filter cigarette
Pen Style - Generally longer that the Mini and not trying to look like a cigarette
E-pipe - Similar in operation, and in some cases compatible with the parts and accessories, of E-Cigs
E-cigar - Larger than an ecig and often tailored to look like a cigar. Sometimes supplied with cigar flavoured juice. A lot of models are disposable rather than refillable.
Custom - Some devices provide the functionality of an electronic "vaping" device, but don't ever try to look like anything else.
Homebrew - The more creative out there have made their own devices from a variety of parts such as bong like bottles and electronic battery cases from Radio Shack or Maplin
